TRAVELERS’ RECOMMENDATIONS

  • I worked on Chapel Street for many years and I loved the eclectic nature
    of the place.
Firstly, you will find any style of international and local food here. Some of is fast food, takeaway and others is high end expensive dining. The fashion can be at the oh so elite end of at one of the five Op Shops between High Street and Dandenong Road. There is a Coles for grocery shopping and at the Jam Factory there is a cinema.
THe length of Chapel Street is around 3kms and it would easily take you three hours to walk to one end and back.
Note that there are some scummy parts of Chapel Street with an eclectic group of people including homeless, drunks, hungover Clubbers, addicts, people with mental health issues and more. This is what makes Chapel Street unique. This is what the world is like and take it as it is.
