This is the cleanest and the most charming place to stay. You’ll find cosy restaurants and expats bars there and you won’t be bothered by night working girls there 😌

No eateries and nothing do except the Genocide Museum but fortunately it doesn’t take that long to go to the other places of the city by tuktuk.

This is where you will find the finest eateries and bars. This area is very convenient due to its central position in the city. Moreover it’s not super busy like riverside.

Within walking distance of the river and places of interest. I will stay here again next time I’m in P.P. because it is a fresh place to stay amidst the real day to day life of Phnom Penh and its people.

Stroll along the shop-front side and find a restaurant (which is what most of the buildings are) and dodge tuk-tuks, motorbikes, vendors of all kinds, and the occasional beggar or drug-dealer!
Stroll along the riverside for a slightly-less manic walk, but still expect people to try and sell you stuff or offer you a ride. Just be careful when you cross the road!!!
It’s worth it for a beer and a quality dinner that will cost just a few dollars…

You’ll find trash everywhere, smell of rotting garbage and urine and poorly maintained walkways that present significant hazards. It appears there was an original grand design that was never maintained. Currently a terrible display of what should be a national treasure

Plenty of Street vendors make this quay dirty. Also saw plenty of prostitution going on. We didn’t bother it as myself and my husband walked close to the water and just enjoyed the waterfront.
Early Mornings are nice with locals taking a walk.

It is a riverside promenade along the Tonle Sap, lined with flags and also exercise equipment. It is a great place for a stroll. Cambodian life is alive here. In the early mornings it is ladies doing exercise. In the evenings it is families strolling and children playing. During our time in Phnom Penh, it also had a nice breeze that cut the humidity. Across the actual street called Sisowath Quay are dozens of hotels and restaurants that have sidewalk seating. This area is one of Phnom Penh’s best
