Long set beach is like heaven on earth 😍😍 white sand, crystal clear water, not really touristy and not so far away from koh touch the main village of the island

I have been to kaoh touch which is really good place to stay ! This is where the action is ! Many good cheap bars and restaurants, and party all night long ! The beaches are nice but for that this not best place to be. Go to long set beach instead.

I’ve really love sok San port! Relax and beautiful…

I have been to Kaoh Touch and we were disapointed. Not very clean by the pier. You can see the trash in the water… And parties are hard after dark. Don’t be surprised to meet a bunch of drunk young people. But the island got many nice places to stay. Long Set beach is amazing and much less touristy. If you are looking for totally unspoilt spot which are wonderful as well consider Palm Beach, Lonely Beach
Anna
Koh Rong is absolutely beautiful ! We enjoyed our time in Kaoh Touch. The village is really cool. You can relax and of course have party at night. If you don’t want to party stay at the northern part of Kaoh Touch to not be annoyed by the noise.

What to say about Song Saa? Beautiful, private, charming, quiet and exclusive. It’s like living a dream…
Ismael Cooper
We went to Song Saa for 4 nights for our honeymoon and our first experience of Cambodia, and couldn’t have enjoyed it more.
After
a quick boat ride, you arrive to a warm, and heart felt welcome. The
island is small and perfectly maintained, and the staff very friendly
and accommodating.
You take off your shoes as you arrive, and put them on when you leave.
The food is delicious, and the location of the restaurants are spectacula.

If you want a relaxing stay; Palm Beach is the best place to be.
If you want a luxury bungalow this is not for you.
The beaches are gorgeous and the water is clear.

We went to Palm Beach for two nights because we followed some really nice
persons. The place is really nice to take some relaxing days because on
that beach there is only one resort and the people there are searching a calm
place. But I would suggest the owner to fresh up their bungalows because
everything looks old and used up.

Needed a really wound down break for the family with no party
atmosphere. Palm Beach has clean, basic accommodation and promotes an
atmosphere of talking to the people you came away with for quality time.
There are a few activities like trips to local village, bike rides,
snorkelling, kayaking but we loved just splashing about in the shallows
with the kids. The week really put us back together. Bring books to read
, travel board games and maybe an inflatable or snorkel gear for kids.
*Please
do expect to be surrounded by ALOT of animals such as dogs, cats, ants,
spiders and many, many geckos at night. They eat the mozzies though so
that fine with us.

We stayed at Palm Beach because we didn’t want to be in any of the party hostels on Koh Rong. We were very happy with our choice.
We had some great nights just hanging out in the bar, you feel you become part of the family.
I cannot recommend this place enough if you want to relax to the fullest. There are some interesting things to do if you stay longer. You can take snorkling or fishing trips on the boat or visit the fishing village that is close by. Or you can try your hand at mountain biking to the other parts of the island.

Coconut beach is paradise! It’s not the main beach so there’s no crowds, no crazy backpackers- just a relaxed atmosphere. This is honestly paradise on earth at such a great cost. I had a wonderful time here and will be coming back hopefully soon!!

We had a wonderful stay in Coconut Beach. I wish I could have stayed longer. This is the most incredible beach we’ve ever been to! We could see the small fishes waving around us. The beach was so quiet and peaceful! It was literally a paradise!!
Although it was one-night stay, everything was more than we expected. Highly recommend for couple because of the romantic atmosphere here. We definitely go back!!

The beach is fabulous on Coconut Beach, lovely clean white sand and virtually deserted. The sand is so fine it squeaks when walked on! The water is clear and very warm.

Coconut Beach is what dreams are made of. The beach is pristine white sand and the sea crystal blue, at night the lights are switched off and you can swim through glowing clouds of Plankton. Over the hill from the resort is a small fishing village, it’s an eye opening place to visit! Original booking 3 days, stayed for 7.

Long Set Beach is a peaceful, quiet crop of bungalows on a strip of pure white sand and crystal clear sea, far enough from the madness but a pleasant and easy 45 minute walk to the main pier in Koh Rong. Safe to walk back at night too, bring a torch but most is well lit through other bungalow resorts.
John
Long Set beach (or 4km beach) is one of the prettiest beaches on Koh Rong. The main beach, Kou Touch, where the boats from Sihanoukville arrive, was too crowded, it’s a party strip. We were looking for a peaceful spot and found Pura Vita by walking for about 40 minutes along the coast from the main pier (they’ll pick you up by boat if you book in advance). We stayed for 7 nights, longer than we’d been planning, in early December

Out and away from all hassle! Long Set beach is all what vacation is about; beach, sun relaxing with beer and food and no tv. Go there to unplug.
Strongly recommend – place to relax!

Read some worrying reviews about Kaoh Touch but if you do
want to stay near party bars AND have a chill out sanctuary then stay at the end of the beach (eastern side). Easily best place on this stretch of beach.

If you are trying to get some quiet time and good sleep, don’t go to Koh Touch. During the 2 nights I stayed there, music goes on until around 1:00am. So if you want sleep earlier than that, make sure to bring your earplugs, better yet look for another place to stay. It’s a great place though to drink and meet other people.

Koh Touch is probably the best location if you want to be right in the centre of things. It’s where all the best bars and restaurants are, and the stunning White Beach is only a 2 minute walk away! Every Thursday, the island’s best DJs play late night tunes, and if you’re feeling delicate the morning after then simply order a full English breakfast, wash it down with some Vietnamese coffee and spend your day relaxing.
If you like beer pong, free drinks, puppies and partying then this place is for you!!!

Sok San Beach is the perfect place to relax and swim alone in the beach, no noise and no waves. One of the best beaches we’ve Been in Asia.
Holla
Sok San is a gorgeous beach. The colors of the water are brilliant and varied with hues of green and blue that are simply astonishing. However, equally astonishing is the garbage on the beach. The beach front for SoK San Resort is clean but step off the property and immediately one sees plastic bottles, lone forgotten shoes, beer bottles, cigarette butts, etc. It is rather disheartening. Walk behind the resort on the service road that was created for locals and the amount of garbage is astonishing.

Spend 6 nights in Sok San Beach. What more to ask for. 12 meters to the 30 degree water. Fine sand beach, reasonable price level. We were bitten by sand flies almost everybody (10 man crew). The bites are itchy and looks less nice. Lots of possibilities to kill time, sailing, snorkelling, kayaking etc, if overlooking the absolute beauty of the place is not enough. Yet a hidden spot on the travelers track, but a big Canadian developer group is preparing big investments so go now if you prefer solitude. This is where the survivor tv series staff stay. Many episodes have been shoot in the surroundings.

Sok San Beach is absolutely stunning – perfect emerald water, bright blue sky, white sand, unbelievable sunsets and starry nights like I have never seen (and I grew up in the American Midwest).
We were looking for a quiet escape in paradise and that’s exactly what we got. Would highly recommend and will return as soon as possible.

If you want to stay at Lonely Beach you have to travel 3 hours single way with a basic slow long tail boat from an awful pier.
The beach is fantastic and the nature surrounding the resort is so beautiful – very simple and untouched. Staff working at Lonely Beach are friendly and helpful and upon our arrival we received a great introduction of the resort/island.
Be aware that insects and small animals can go inside the bungalow, but for us this was not a problem.
So if you are not afraid of living without wifi, spending a few days of living very simple and just recharging your batteries – I highly recommend Lonely Beach on the beautiful Koh Rong Island!

If you want to get back to basics in paradise, get yourself on the boat Lonely Beach, we loved it so much we got engaged here!!!!!
This is not a location everyone would love, if you don’t like not having a warm shower or en suite facilities, you wouldn’t enjoy it! Its literally glamping in paradise, outdoor showers and clear, warm sea to cool down in! the is a village to walk to and they offer a snorkelling trip to get you out of the multiple hammocks, should you choose to not just relax all day!
